Twelve months after the date I promised to pay the Revd. Mr. Bernard Foskett or order the sum of one hundred and four pounds for value secured by me. Signed BB
Recd 11 July seventy five pounds in Lue of this note - B F

By September 1758 Foskett was dead.
Beddome was a beneficiary of Foskett's will.
